Welcome
Thank you for visiting A Time to Dance, Inc., where we promote quality dance instruction in a Christian learning environment. A Time to Dance studio provides fun, loving dance classes for a wide range of abilities. A former dance major at Florida State University, A Time to Dance founder and previous KATV Daybreak co-host Julie Mayberry trained more than 20 years in tap, ballet, jazz and acrobatics in Ft. Lauderdale, Miami, Boston and New York. She has almost a decade experience teaching classes and performed professionally with the Energee Dance Company in Miami before ever pursuing a career in TV.

A Time to Dance classes are disciplined, but also exciting and energetic. We are a family-oriented studio where students and parents can feel at home. Your children will receive not only quality dance training, but will also gain new friendships and a knowledge of Biblical principles that will hopefully impact them a lifetime and beyond.

What makes A Time to Dance more than just a dance studio?

  • Each class will have an age-appropriate devotional.
  • Each student will be encouraged to memorize approximately two age-appropriate Bible verses per month.
  • Those Bible verses will be used to teach not only good discipline in the dance room, but at home and school as well.
  • The studio will have a community prayer board.
  • Each class will end in prayer.
  • All the music will be wholesome, and much of it will be Christ-centered.
